| Our Angels of Hope STUKKIE & BLOM The past is already gone, the future is not yet here. There's only one moment for you to live, and that is the present moment." They may be the products of their past, but they don't have to be prisoner...s of it. For once we are not going to focus on their horrible past for their lives begin NOW. New lives with everything a puppy heart desires await them. When I first met Stukkie I was drawn into those ‘human’ eyes, eyes that look at the world with so much awe and curiosity. The most adorable little girl ever! She is so tiny. Even with mangy itchy skin, she is still so perfect in every way. She has the most soulful, beautiful green eyes I’ve ever seen. So innocent and yet so wise. Then there is Blom. I did not know whether to cry or laugh when I saw Blom for the first time. Her body is obviously so sore, her skin so raw, her legs so deformed with rickets…. but she has an aura of happy ’puppyness’ surrounding her. She oozes love and talks back when you talk to her. She also makes that special ‘mooves’ when she wants to play. A real chatter-bug this one! And a little mouth that just says KISS ME, KISS ME, KISS ME! These are two angels that were sent our way…. to cross our paths and to show us life is precious. They are our Angels of Hope… for they bring new hope and love with them. You just want to scoop them up and hold them in your arms, but they are still in quarantine. Both need medical care so if you can spare a few cents towards their medical costs we would be so grateful. Please share their plea and send them some love and healing thoughts so that they can grow up healthy and happy. |
